Weighted Coyote Plush

Love this coyote so much! Such a happy face! Only issue is that there is no stuffing in any other place besides his head, paws, and tail. So none in his body or legs, kinda feels just like a floppy beanbag. Maybe it’s just a defect with mine because other people’s seem to be stiffer and my other Weighted Wildlife plush seems to have the perfect amount of stuffing. Nonetheless still love him.

I have been eyeing this coyote for literal years but the price was a little intimidating. I didn't realize how big the plush actually was and how HEAVY! This is the heaviest plush I have, I have a few other weighted plush but she is the heaviest and you can really feel the weight soothing you. She is so soft and lovely and the materials used are great. Vibrant colors, great mix of fabrics, very neat and adorable embroidery. Her mischievous face makes me so so so happy. I wish I would've gotten her so long ago but the Earth Day sale was such a lovely chance to finally meet her. Her whole body is just packed with beans, she is still posable but the concentrated weight is lovely. I love her floppy limbs and big ears and tail and she's very stimmable despite her weight. I don't think that her cheek fur was rough at all, for the (necessary to prevent shedding) cutting technique, it's very carefully done and I don't find the edges to be scratchy. Of course it might differ but I am so so so happy with her and I know that she will have a place in my bed forever. If you are on the fence like I was, I can assure you that the price is so reasonable for the amazing and adorable friend you receive.

Coyote is a wonderful companion and a perfect weight. I love that the weight is concentrated in the main body; it gives the plush a very comforting heft. Additionally, putting Coyote on my stomach helps me go to sleep on my back, which is better for my GERD than my usual sleep position.

I suffer from a lifelong case of chronic anxiety, which comes with its challenges that have severely affected my life both emotionally and physically. Holding my weighted coyote and having him lay on my lap helps regulate my body from jitters and calms my mind so I am able to think more clearly. In addition to his practical purpose, this coyote also has a sweet face, lovely details and very soft fur that is therapeutic to stroke. I accept that I will never be cured from my chronic anxiety, but over the decades I am gradually finding out which coping mechanisms work best for me, and my coyote is the perfect size and mass for helping me settle. Definitely a step in the right direction! Thank you, Weighted Wildlife.

My little coyote is the cutest! He's a lovely weight, I like to set him on my shoulder or chest while I watch TV. Very soothing.

I've bought a few weighted plushes in the past and this one is certainly a new favorite! He's super soft and is actually much heavier than I expected - which is great for me. He's got such a cute unique design and I love the long snout, just like the real thing! I bought the alligator as well and love how squishy and soft he is. The faux fur on the coyote doesn't prick at all and is very comfortable for just laying around with. I'll be directing my friends here for all of their weighted plush needs and I look forward to seeing what new designs they come up with! (Note: Not for use with pets, but my dog gave them a stamp of approval!)

I have been on the search for a weighted plush for several years. I came across Weighted Wildlife and knew that I had to have one! Most of the weighted plushies I found seemed like they were for very little kids or a bit too cutesy for my taste. I had a hard time trying to pick out of all the amazing animals Weighted Wildlife has, but I finally decided on the coyote. I showed my husband and he had to have the raven (his favorite animal). We love them so much and plan to buy more in the future!

P.S. We'd also love to see heavier versions in the future if possible

SO SOFT! The fur is perfect for snuggling. The weight is beautifully in the center area of the plush- so no weird floppy tail or uneven feet! The 3lbs of weight makes this Coyote very cozy to hold, and fits comfortably on my shoulder and lap while relaxing. I love my little guy! Definitely built for snugs.

Smaller than expected and a bit too pokey around the face tufts but overall its very comfy and is weighted

Love this plushie. Very well made, huggable, and the weight is perfect. I knew to expect the sensory issues with the ears and cheek ruff, but didnt expect the cheeks and tail to crinkle which is my only issue here. It wont stop me from enjoying the plush, but I might have picked something else had I known since I find it offputting. For those that like crinkle it is a gentle, soft crinkle with a minor tactile feel beneath the fur. More subtle than the glass beads.

I was one of the first to receive my order so I've had my weighted coyote plush for a little while now. I quickly grew attached to the little guy and he became my Emotional Support Plush, for good reason. But in that time, I've been able to do a thorough quality check, as someone who collects and restores plush animals for a hobby and profession.
The first thing I will say is, this toy is absolutely adorable! Personally I would have liked it to be a little bigger but that's just my preference. It has a good weight to it that is therapeutic but also safe as long as it isn't thrown or dropped from higher than a few feet. The embroidery is done well but a little thick so it's somewhat evident to physical touch. The fur on the other hand isn't particularly pleasant to the touch. It's not the softest and after some play/travel, begins to mat quite obviously. Because I have a lot of experience, I'm able to comb out the mats with a cat brush (also known as a fursuit brush) but it mats up relatively quickly again. I've started putting tiny dog clothes on mine to prevent the mats from collecting dirt but that does cause significant matting under the fabric as well. I noticed that the inner ear triangle of fabric isn't attached in the best way and I'm suspecting it's actually glued on rather than sewn. In some areas, mainly the underside of the head/neck, the scruff added has the backing exposed and is quite unpleasant to the touch, particularly for those needing physical comfort in weighted form (I'm autistic/ADHD and it can be very off putting to accidentally caress. The only other negative, that doesn't even technically count in my book, would be that; the string that is used to give the illusion of separate toes, came loose. This happens in most (non display) toys with this feature but it happened a little quicker than I'm use to which lost it some points.
Overall though, I definitely am satisfied with the item simply with some quality notes based on my own experience of collecting. I would still recommend others to buy one, especially if you are looking for a comfort item or sleep-aid rather than regularly played with toy.

I bought this lil guy through the kick starter, and I adore him! He's very cute and perfectly weighted. I love keeping him on my lap while I work, it helps me keep calm and focused! Highly recommend for any coyote lovers out there!

Really cool toy. A bit smaller than I was expecting, but has a decent weight. Very soft! There's a crinkling layer that I wasn't expecting that others might appreciate.

I love this guy! He's heavier than I thought, and it's put together so nicely! I love the idea, and couldn't be more thrilled that they're doing North American animals. The coyote is my favorite, but there are several others I would also think seriously about getting.
