Weighted Caribou Plush

I absolutely love my weighted caribou! I suffer from anxiety and depression and having the little guys weight just helps me feel grounded. My dogs tend to be to interested in him but we’re working on it.

I’m hoping in the future to add another to my collection when I can afford one. Stuffies have always been a safe space for me and now having one weighted is like a dream. Thanks for the amazing design 🥰

My brother bought this plush for me. It’s super cute, but it arrived with a hole in its antler. Also, it’s ears are not symmetrical (one of them has more brown fur on the bottom), but that’s pretty minor. This would be an amazing plush without these issues.

EDIT: I contacted the company and they are replacing my Caribou. 5 stars for the customer service.

This reindeer is my second weighted animal from the business. It’s definitely worth the price, the quality is amazing. The reindeer’s antlers are flexy and fun to fidget with.

Edit: disappointed by the fact that it has a shedding issue. 4 stars.

I have named him Poro, the Finnish word for reindeer. He is an absolute loaf, and probably could be used as a weapon. LOL

I am really a big fan of the pickable nose and poseable antlers. Little details like that just bring this critter to life. The white fluff around his neck and on his belly isn't as soft as I would like, but I know how difficult it is to find fur that is the right color and texture, so I will not be removing any stars.

Alright, I have been waiting for this boy since he was first teased back in 2023 - and it was love at first sight. I saw him and knew immediately that I NEEDED him. How could you not?! LOOK AT THAT FACE!!

I was so love sick for this Caribou that I even went to AnthroCon 2024 for a single afternoon, waited in the admissions line for 3+ hours JUST because I knew Weighted Wildlife was there with the Caribou prototype at their booth. Once I held him there, I was sold even further that this guy was gonna be something special.

So naturally, when you've waited for something for over a year, it's easy to overhype it in your mind and be a little underwhelmed when it's finally in your hands, right?

Well...

He's soft, wonderfully weighted in his body, his legs move perfectly to not be in the way of his weight while not looking awkward, his ANTLERS 👏 ARE 👏 POSABLE👏👏👏

MY 9 year old son loved it. He pretty much watches TV with it and takes it almost everywhere. He said it almost feels like a pet.

So I got my caribou! And I am SO HAPPY!!! I paid for grade A and I saw people saying the antlers were floppy, but me personally, all you had to do was play with the wires a bit!! I mean it is all compacted and such so idk what else they’d expect, and yes, the long fur does shed a bit, tho a slicker brush can help solve this problem easily!!

I have yet to receive it so I’ll come back and edit my review once I get it!

My plush just came in today and he's ADORABLE! I've got a grade B plush (horns flop, I have no qualms) and I haven't stopped picking his nose (you can stick your finger in there!! Hours of fun) and he's absolutely lovely in terms of looks! My biggest gripe is how *dense* he feels.

He's a really, really tough cuddle as it feels like I'm holding a Styrofoam brick wrapped in fur. I've got 3 other weighted plushies (hug-a-lumps) that I'm gaga over as they feel soft, squishy, but still have a beautifully distributed weight to them and almost feel like a cat when you pick them up. My caribou, however, is stiff throughout his entire body besides his legs and has no give when his midsection is swished. Also well weighted but maybe a little *too* much?

I'd recommend that the makers have the plush resized or remove at least a couple beads/redistribute them through the plush for a more cuddly, comfortable feel. Otherwise, after a thorough check over his whole body, I haven't seen any popped seams, spots, nor shed hair!

I like the texture of the shorter fur but the longer fur is quite messy and sheds a little, and I found a hole already forming in the plush within an hour of opening the product. I am most disappointed by the fact I paid for Grade A, but received a plush with a flopped-over horn that I need to fix myself.
Besides that, I love the plush!

Big and perfect. Nicely weighted. Big antlers are kind of flop, they're staying upright, but one be floppin'. I am not mad about it at all he's still perfect just the way he is. Love love love his little hooves.

I quite like this little guy. He’s a big size, and looks exactly as expected :) Decently tall and for sure weighted! The antlers feel a little floppy with the wires, sometimes and it’s almost too weighted (feels very compact) that it would almost be nice if it was a little bigger or less full of glass beads so that the body doesn’t feel as inflexible - a little more flexibility would make it a bit easier to hold/cuddle. Over all super cute and exactly as expected!

I'd been considering a weighted plush for a while, hearing it can help with anxiety and other similar conditions - and I think this weighted caribou was what I was looking for! I think the weight is heavy enough to be comfortable without being overbearing, the fur is soft, and the antlers are easily poseable. I also like that it comes with some facts about the animal.

This qalipu (caribou) is SO much bigger than expected! (And that's not a bad thing!) I have the Weighted Wildlife Grizzly and this guy stands easily at twice his height, maybe 3 once you add in the antlers. Antlers are posable and each of his little hooves are slightly weighted too. Absolutely LOVE him! I'm torn because he is just SO soft and I don't want to squish his fur by cuddling him but I definitely want to! Wonderful!

Our other problem was not your fault it was a rather large fee to cross the border. Sadly beacause of this we will not be ordering from you again. Sad about that.

Opossum and caribou friends to cuddle and soothe two adults. I absolutely love them. If you need a feel good friend or you are missing someone, these cute guys are here for you. Well made, super cute, and very soft.

This fella is much bigger than the horse and coyote, and mighty hefty! Adorable posable antlers. I was worried about the longer pile fur but I actually don't mind the texture of it at all, and the shorter fur is super super soft. Not to mention, absolutely adorable.

This is a fantastic plushie and a great idea for these weighted plushies. The weight is perfect, and the short furs and minky are super soft. The only point of improvement is the long white fur. It sheds a lot, and isn't nearly as soft as I hoped, but otherwise a perfect plushie.

I love him! The fur is so soft and weighs just enough that i feel so comforted.
